LOCAL ACTIVITIES

There are many things that you can do, either on our own 40-acre back yard or at the many facilities nearby. Winter If you are a snow-mobiler, you can access the extensive snow mobile trails from the house. The magnificent Nordic Cross country ski trails are less than 5 minutes away. There is downhill skiing at Jack Pine hill within 15 minutes and extensive ice fishing on Lake Nipissing. For those who wish, you can snow shoe or cross country ski in the “back yard”. Summer Summer activities include visits to the several quality beaches, nearby boat rentals or other water sports on Trout Lake. Visit the fabulous North Bay waterfront; take a cruise on Lake Nipissing or canoe on a local river. There are many miles of trails for hiking, right at the back door. Borrow one of our bicycles and explore! Spring and Fall Fishermen will enjoy the high quality local fishing and the fall has magnificent colours, especially for hikers. Return to main page
